What is a Dietitian?
Dietitians must have completed a BSc degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. This gives them the skills to translate scientific information about food into practical dietary advice. Dietitians provide nutrition advice to promote well-being, prevent nutrition-related health problems and aid in the treatment of disease
Dietitians are uniquely qualified to:
- Treat disease and ill health
- Provide impartial advice about nutrition and health
- Give advice regarding food related problems
- Provide training and education on nutritional related topics to the public and healthcare professionals.
There are many conditions where dietary manipulation can provide a better quality of life, and I can help you with this. I provide un-judgemental nutritional advice and guidance to help you improve your diet. Certain medical conditions are affected by diet, so changes in diet can improve quality of life.
